Is there any carpooling system for students commuting to and from campus?

There are many programs available on-line that are run by outside groups. One is run by the state of Kansas. You can access its website at http://www.kansas.gov/employee/. Another is RideShare which serves Lawrence and Kansas City. The other is AlterNetRides which has a partnership with the KU parking department. Both of these options require you to choose from an online list of carpoolers and contact them to coordinate rides. Also, there is a carpooling system run by the Lawrence City Bus system.
